What's the matter? Haven't you ever seen an Dragon Athletics post a story with a Rubber Chicken on a diving board? Well, this is what happens the Annual Dragon Hunt Swim Invitational.
Swimming just hosted the 13th Annual Dragon Hunt Swim Invitational. Everyone who is an ardent supporter of the swim team knows this is one of the most fun meets of the entire year. To explain what makes this meet so special you have to know that each “heat” winner is awarded a RUBBER CHICKEN. There are 132 rubber chickens awarded and the Dragon swimmers claimed 48. There were 11 teams competing in the meet and both the Dragons and Lady Dragons came home with overall team titles. The Lady Dragon Varsity squad amassed 882 points compared to the 2nd place finisher Mansfield with 426. The Dragons also claimed top honors with a team total of 657 points with Mansfield very close with 624.
