There were lots of good pictures from the Dragon Cross Country experience at the 38th Annual Woodbridge Cross Country Classic in Norco, California from the actual meet. But when you are in California, and get to run on the beach...using the beach photo is a must!

SLC ran against some of the country's elite competition this weekend and grabbed all top 10 finishes as the Varsity Elite Lady Dragons finished in 5th place and the Varsity Elite Dragons finished in 6th.

But top honors went to the Varsity Lady Dragons finishing in 2nd place, led by Riley Lackey.

Head Coach Justin Leonard said "Our boys and girls teams competed hard in California against some of the best teams in the nation. We love having the opportunity to compete against national level competition. These types of races and experiences will pay dividends for our team and runners during the championship portion of our season."

The Varsity teams will have a well earned off week while the JV will run a pair of split squad meets competing either at the Islander Splash in Corpus Christi or the Coppell Invitational.
