In perhaps the most dramatic Region 1 Quarterfinal of the Corey Aldridge era, Dragon Tennis defeated Coppell (you knew it was going to be a classic, didn't you??) by a score of 10-8.

Remember in team tennis whenever you have a score of 10-8 the entire season hinges on two singles matches one way or the other.

Great job tonight Dragon Tennis defeating one "old friend" on the court of another as the match was played at Grapevine HS.

Now the team awaits its seeding in the Region 1 Tournament in Abilene either Thursday, Oct. 24th or Friday, Oct. 25th. Regional pairings and times will be announced later this week.
