Dragon Soccer kept a clean sheet in two ways tonight - in the goals against column with a 2-0 shutout over Byron Nelson and in the loss column as they picked up their 16th victory against only three ties.

They have now run their record overall to a remarkable 16-0-3 and 7-0-3 in district play. The first goal tonight came in dramatic fashion just before the half. The game was nil-nil until the final minute of the first half when Preston Myers played a corner to Owen Harrison who rocketed the ball past the keeper and put the Dragons up 1-0 at intermission. The game's one and only helper came midway through the second half when Ali Morrish lit the lamp.

Obviously when you have a shutout your back line play was stellar and Harrison Pustilnik was spotless on the spot.

The regular season is winding down with only four games remaining. Up next the Dragons travel to Fossil Ridge to take on the Panthers on Friday, March 5th with a 7:30pm kickoff.
