Your Dragon Soccer team was no where near at full strength this evening when they took on Fossil Ridge at Dragon Stadium. A few nagging injuries and the winter bug nagged the Dragons entering the game. Through it all though your favorite local high school soccer team is still at the top of the 5-6A standings and undefeated overall on the year with a 12-0-1 record. They are now 3-0-1 in 5-6A play thanks to two second half goals, despite a strong effort from a very game Fossil Ridge squad.

The game was nil-nil at the break. The goose egg battle was broken on the scoreboard early in the second half when Nolan Mikolaski beat the Panther defense and the goal keeper to put the Dragons on the board first. Starting goal keeper Harrison Pustilnik stood on his head a couple of times to keep the game 1-0 until late in the second half when Jackson Clay added the only helper of the game with 30 seconds remaining for the 2-0 final.

Up next your Dragons look for their 13th victory on the year when they take on Keller Central at Central on Friday, Feb. 8th at 7:30pm.
