Welcome home to a dear friend. The saying goes, you can't go home again. Don't tell that to Robyn McCoart and her Lady Dragons. They opened a new era for the program tonight with a 40-32 win over area power Euless Trinity.

The journey of the season is just getting started. But for Coach McCoart and Coach Willingham, pictured above, tonight's first victory was a huge one. As many Carroll Dragons know Coach Willingham was Robyn McCoart's coach, when she was an All State player for Carroll in the late 1990's.

Jillian Sowell had a huge night with 23 points. Up next Lady Dragon Basketball travels to Colleyville Heritage to take on a state champion in Argyle on Thursday, Nov. 8th at 9am.
