Since there's been no actual sun in the DFW area for the last 5 days, we have to leave it up to our Lady Dragon soccer team to provide the sunshine and they did seven times tonight in a 7-0 win over Trinity.
The Lady Dragons, 14-1-1 overall and 9-0 in district play rolled from the opening kickoff. Most of the firepower in the 7-0 victory was provided by Taylor Tuft's Hat Trick. The remaining four other goals were shared amongst Kendall Gilpin, Leslie Fields, Madi Drenowatz and Sarah Hornyak. And junior goal keeper Madi Martin, despite only playing in the first half due to the lopsided score line, was credited with the shutout.
The district parade continues with a match up against the fighting Lady Farmers of Lewisville at Dragon Stadium on Tuesday, Feb. 27th at 7:30pm.
